Harry & Rosalind’s Seaside Wedding

September 12th 2007

What a wonderful day! TJ Cameron and I had an awesome time shooting Harry and Rosalind’s wedding in Seaside this weekend. Harry and Rosalind are such great people and full of a ton of love. It was a pleasure being there enjoying the beach, the sunset, the great food, the joy, and the new chapter in Harry, Rosalind, and Eric’s lives together!

Oh yeah, and hey Rosalind, I saw you kiss in public!!!!!

Sara and John’s Wedding

August 2nd 2007

TJ Cameron and I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Sara and John. The Oregon wedding event was at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse which offered a great venue for the outdoor ceremony and a fun indoor/outdoor reception area. Sara and John were great and everyone was having a blast dancing and enjoying the great food and drinks. This was another fantastic Bridal Bliss Event!  Take a look at the slideshow of my favorite images. It’s events like these that reminds me why I love being a wedding photographer!

Kristen and Dennis’ Wedding Reception

July 14th 2007

I would have loved to shoot Kristen and Dennis’s wedding!!!  These two jumped a plane to Jamaica with family and friends for the ceremony.  They came back and celebrated their new life together at a wonderful reception coordinated by Nora of Bridal Bliss.  We had nice weather and a ton of fun at Lake Oswego Country Club!  Below are a few shots from the day and a slideshow link is at the bottom of this post.  I may have missed Jamaica but I had a blast with this group in Oregon!

Scott & Yarmela’s Oregon Wedding

June 14th 2007

Another fun wedding in Portland, Oregon!  Scott and Yarmela know how to have a great time!  A power outage during the reception didn’t slow this party down.  Someone ran a (very) long extension cord from a business across the street and the DJ fired up the music!  PGE fixed the problem and the chocolate fountain was next to get power!  TJ Cameron and I had a great time and the guests all enjoyed this Bridal Bliss wedding coordinated by Nora.  Be sure to check out the wedding slideshow and their Wedding Album!

Brooke and Jeremy

April 24th 2007

Brook and Jeremy are a super fun couple!  I had a total blast capturing the images from their wedding day.  Brooke and I started early on Saturday morning with a trip to the salon.  Next, we stopped and had her makeup just perfect.  They picked Reames Country Club in Klamath Falls, Oregon for their event and it was a wonderful place!

I loved this day!  Take a look at the slideshow.

Wedding Photography

March 1st 2007

I’ve decided to start keeping a blog to record and share my thoughts on the special events that I am allowed to be a part of.

Wedding photography is an area that the artist simply must love. It isn’t something that can (or should) be entered into lightly. Think about, if you are out in the field creating landscape art and you fudge a shot, you take another and move on. If, on the other hand, you fudge the shot of the father and bride coming down the aisle, you’re stuck. You must be acutely aware of your surroundings, your equipment must be an extension of yourself, and you need to be able to “see” the moments.
